25,000. That's the number of people who die each day from hunger or hunger-related causes according to the United Nations.
Food 4 Existence (F4E) is a non-profit organization developed for the purpose of helping feed poor and malnourished children. What we are striving for bless a region full of less fortunate kids with an opportunity to enjoy a healthier lifestyle. We sometimes take for granted what we are given. When we sit at a table full of food, surrounded by friends and family, it is easy to forget that there are many out there who do not enjoy the privaleges of multiple daily meals. "An apple a day keeps the doctor away." This is an example of what we as a society are taught early on. What if a child does not have access to fresh fruit? What if that child is not fortunate enough to see a doctor throughout his/her developmental years?
We at F4E believe that every child should be provided for physically, mentally, and spiritually so they can enjoy the opportunity to grow into healthy, responsible adults. Daily events has a way to have us forget about the big pictures of life. Whether that is striving for money, success, or "things", we may lose track of what is important. Serving others before ourselves is a hard thing to do. Many are doing this daily; some struggling to make ends meet. F4E will be doing the best we can to feed the children who do not get enough to eat daily. We will kick off a daily blog as events unfold in the future
